6 Things You Should Be Doing During The Winter Months

ID 100286

The winter is coming and ARE YOU READY for the colds, sneezing, coughing and all the other great things that come with the time change and cold weather? If not we can help. It isn’t very hard to be PREVENTABLE and in a case where someone does get sick have certain things on hand so it doesn’t get very bad and so you don’t have to spend your time in a Quick

Care Clinic or the Emergency Room. I am sure non of you would like to spend your time at these places.

So, let’s get prepared for the little sniffles that will come!

Every day and before you are sick, the first thing I recommend is that your child and yourself be on some type of Whole Food Vitamin. I know you are saying well Trey I have that covered. Well if you are getting your vitamins from the health food store, Walgreens, Walmart, etc… You don’t have it covered. These are synthetic vitamins that are not beneficial to you and you are wasting your money and you are putting harmful things in your body. I would recommend Shaklee’s Vita Lea for your children or the adult. For the best Vitamin for the adult I would suggest the Vitalizer – My wife and I both take this and it was awesome. We get everything we need with this one strip of Vitamins. If your child doesn’t like to take Vitamins there is a great way to get them their Vitamins, it is called Citri Boost.

The second thing I would recommend to take a little extra of is Vitamin C. Our bodies do not create Vitamin C, and under stress it is used up. Taking a supplement instead of drinking orange juice helps with your sugar consumption. The “do-everything” nutrient, vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. Shaklee provides a Vitamin C that is released through out the day. Sustained Release Vita-C provides:

• A proprietary sustained-release system that delivers the vitamin C equivalent of one-and-a-half oranges every hour for five hours

• A formula that helps maintain natural antioxidant defenses, cell integrity, and the health of eyes, teeth, gums, bones, muscles, and blood vessels.

The third and most important is your NUTRITION. Your nutrition is so vital all year long, but defiantly during the colder months you have to make sure that you are eating foods that are creating health and not sickness in your body. Remember to Eat to Live, not Live to Eat! When you get sick one of the main things you should stay away from is Sugar, and Dairy while you are sick. Here is a link to Foods that you can also read that might help you with your overall health.

Starting to get Sick? Here is what you should take!

Vitamin D3:
Vitamin D has been shown in recent studies to:

Help support healthy, heart function
Help promote immune health
Facilitate healthy cell development
Aid in calcium absorption for maintaining strong bones and teeth
Plus, Shaklee’s Vita-D3 is subjected to over 300 tests to guarantee product purity. Shaklee has Vitamin D for $7.95.

Immunity Builder – Nutriferon is an amazing product. When we start to get sick we try to have this on hand. When I was sick with my staff infection and recovering (you can read my story here) I was told by another researcher that this was the best on the market.

Hydrogen Peroxide is the next product. We use this in our ears when we start to get sick. I am a living testimony that this works. You can pour it in your ears while in the shower or bath. You can leave it in there for a minute or two. If you are suffering from a soar throat, you can gargle with it.

What other supplements or ways have you found to help with your colds and sickness during the winter months?
